| In order to augment college and hospital services, Dte. General of Health Services and Ministry of Health and Family Welfare has approved a Comprehensive Redevelopment Plan for the LHMC and Assoc. Hospitals. In the first Phase of the CRP the infrastructure, faculty and staff shall primarily be augmented so as to implement Central Educational Institutions (Reservation in Admission) Act 2006. The CCEA and Expenditure Department of the Finance ministry has approved 387.31 crores for the first phase of the CRP. The Architectural consultant has prepared the plans and architectural drawings for the same and submitted them to the statutory authorities for approval. As soon as the approvals from statutory authorities are received, an executing agency shall be appointed on the basis of open tender. The first phase include OPD block, investigative/ IPD block, Accident and Emergency block having IPD and OTs, Radiotherapy block, Academic Blocks, hostels for undergraduate & postgraduate students and residential quarters. |
